Info at your finger tips

Info at your finger tips

These are the hardcopy books I posses and I have more e-books on my computer. Not to mention the lists of blogs I follow. There is so much information out there on Primal/Paleo/Beyond Paleo eating I could get lost in the information. I have also listed the number of times I have read them. I will be reading some over and over again because the information is good and it just cements why I am doing this.

I am just getting started on this journey. It all began in December when we found out our 11 year old daughter has Lymphocytic Colitis. The meds she was given could cause liver and kidney failure which just wasn’t an option for us. So, we sought the advice of a family friend who is studying nutrition and discovered our daughter’s symptoms are pointing towards a gluten and casein intolerance. I truly appreciate your reading list! I am actually currently reading Wheat Belly and my copy of Practical Paleo is being shipped as we speak. Thank you for being a wonderful resource! This is all just a little overwhelming but is going to be a wonderful thing for my family. I could not do it without people like you who are so willing to share information! Thank you!

April, I am sorry to hear about your daughter’s diagnosis but you are so on the right track. Read Wheat Belly and then when you are done you NEED to read “Primal Body Primal Mind – beyond the paleo diet” by Nora Gedgaudas. After you read that and you have all the “OK now I know WHY I am doing this” Then read “Primal Blueprint” by Mark Sisson…his book is the “how to”

There is no need for deprivation for your daughter, just alternatives and a little bit of planning. 🙂

bookmark mark’s site and search his site as there is so much info. In the search put, any word with Primal and you will find good info.

🙂 Thanks for your words of encouragement

How do you like the last 2 ? I looked at both of them at the bookstore but no purchase. I’d love your feedback as I am already guilty of owning too many books!! This year you’ll have to read The Vegetarian Myth just for fun. I have a few others I’ll send you as well.

Love them both…and I will get my hands on the vegetarian myth!
